SeaVibes Yachting LLC offers private Chicago boating charters for up to 6 passengers out of Belmont Harbor. Rates: $225 per hour 

Charters are out of Belmont Harbor, downtown pick-up/drop-off available for $60.  After booking, an email will be sent a week before the charter date with the meeting location and charter details.

The 300 Sundancer offers good space both inside and out for cruising the city or lounging in the playpen. An ultra leather double helm bench seat makes cruising comfortable and the lower cockpit area can easily be turned into a large sun pad with filler cushions...great for sun lovers. Down below the cabin offers a good flow and plenty of light. An ultra leather lounge is located directly across from the galley. The boat features two refrigerators, one in the cabin and one on deck. An extra large swim platform provides even more space to play. 

The boat is commercially licensed by the City of Chicago and State of Illinois and our captain is U.S. Coast Guard Licensed (MMC 25 ton). U.S. Coast Guard regulations limit us to 6 paying passengers. This is the same certification for most pleasure boat captains and they should abide by the same restrictions.  Please beware of illegal boat charters in Chicago.  Safety is our first priority aboard the SeaVibes.

Boat Rules:

• Charter capacity is 6 passengers (No exceptions).
• No red wine or staining food.
• No cooking or preparing of food on board.
• No glass bottles, cans only please (Large glass bottles are OK).
• Children under 13 years old must wear a renter provided approved PFD at all times.
• Keep consumption of alcoholic beverages under control for the enjoyment and safety of all on board.
• All Passengers must be 21 to drink alcoholic beverages.
• No illegal substances are to be brought on board.
• No smoking or vaping on board, smoking is permitted on the dock.
• No fishing off of the boat or dock.
• No Animals on the boat.
• No bow riding when boat is underway.
• Renter liable for damages to vessel.
• If you wish to swim in the Lake, you will need to sign a liability waiver.
• We do not tie up with other boats unless prearranged with another captain.

Cancellation Policy

Customer can cancel up to 7 days in advance and receive 100% of the rental. Rental forfeited if canceled 6 days or less before charter.

We will monitor weather conditions and determine go or no go 12 to 3 hours before charter.

We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to the following conditions:

Sustained winds over 20 mph                    

Small craft advisory issued                                                                          

Waves over 3 feet

Thunderstorms at the time of charter

Heavy rain

Fog with less than 1.5 miles visibility

Mechanical breakdown

Prior to boarding if any of these conditions are met we will reschedule the trip for another time that day or a different day, if this is not possible the customer will be offered a refund. 

After Boarding if for safety reasons the trip must be cut short, refunds will be prorated based on the amount of trip not completed at the time of cancellation with exception. The Captain at their own discretion can terminate any cruise due to any passenger’s unlawful, unruly, dangerous and unsafe behavior without any consideration of trip remaining and no refunds will be granted.

We assume no liability for cancellations due to above conditions. 

We will sail in any temperature and light rain or mist so please dress accordingly.

For major spills or stains requiring professional cleaning a $200 fee will be charged.

Booking a charter indicates that the customer agrees with the terms and conditions listed above, boat rules, and listing information.
