France has a long history of wine production and is one of the largest wine producers in the world. It’s no surprise that wine connoisseurs from all over the globe come to this country to indulge in their fine wines. Burgundy is one of the most famous wine regions in France. The region is well known for its production of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Fun fact, more than 200 million bottles of Burgundy wine are sold every year!

A Wine and Water Barge Cruise is available for rent in Burgundy, France, and allows you to cruise down the Saone River. The canals offer a magnificent view of the rolling hill lined with vineyards and quaint villages. Found in the western portion of Australia is Swan Valley - the second oldest wine region in this country. Chile is an off-the-beaten-path wine destination that will not disappoint. Did you know that Chile is the 8th largest wine producer in the world! You can rent a sailboat and explore the coastal towns of Algarrobo or Vina del Mar. The monohull can fit up to 10 guests comfortably. Rates start from $200/ hour with a minimum of three hours and include service onboard with locally produced wine and sparkling wine, cold cuts, cheese, and other preparations.

The tour operator can arrange your stay at the Winery Boutique Hotel in Algarrobo for those interested in extending their trip. Amenities at the hotel include a winery, swimming pool bar, and spa. Complimentary breakfast is served as well. Winery tours are available upon request with the tour operator’s partner winery - Casa Marin. Casa Marin is one of Chile’s most awarded wineries and is a family-owned business with an extensive wine portfolio.
