Enjoy catching some big fish in Charleston, South Carolina aboard the 25ft Scout Center Console Boat for up to 6 people. Rates as low as $100 per hour (4 hours minimum). We provide fishing tackle, bait, fishing license, ice, however, please feel free to bring along your favorite rod or tackle if you prefer. You should also plan to bring sunglasses (polarized are helpful), a hat, sunscreen and non-skid shoes with light-colored soles. A light windbreaker or rain jacket may be needed as well. We do hope that you will bring along a camera to take plenty of pictures, but in case you forgot, the Captain can provide you with digital pictures of your once in a lifetime fishing excursion. What To Expect Onboard: The Scout 251XS with forward seating was designed to be a hybrid model capable of handling and performing in both inshore and offshore waters. This model has a draft of 13 inches for backwater fishing while the hull design and freeboard allow it to slice through offshore waves while keeping you dry. Beyond the stunning lines, ample fishing features and creature comforts, the 251 XS also showcases SCOUT`s revolutionary T- top glass enclosure keeping you cool on sunny days and out of the wind on cooler ones. This boat has a 300 HP Yamaha four-stroke engine, which can get you to and from your destination in short order. Some other features on this boat includes aerated bait well, leaning post with backrest, FM stereo with iPod jack (bring your own tunes!). JL audio speakers, a Garmin 5212 GPS depth finder and a transom ladder in case you want to go for swim. The boat has plenty of storage capacity so you don't have to pack light! Frequently Asked Question What is the cancellation policy? We require a 1-week notice for your trip cancellation to be fully refundable. However, we do realize that last minute things do come up and we will make exceptions to this rule. Any cancellations less than 48 hours, will lose the $50.00 minimum reservation fee. What if there is bad weather? If the Captain determines that it is unsafe or will be unpleasant to fish in, we will be happy to reschedule or fully refund your trip as you determine. What marinas / landings do you pick up from? We usually pick clients up from Waters Edge or RED's Ice House in Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms, Charleston Marina, Daniel Island Boat Landing or Remley's Point, . However, we will be happy to pick you up at any Charleston area marina/landing that is most convenient for you. Who provides the equipment? We will provide all licenses, rods, reels, tackle, bait and ice. Can I bring my own equipment? If you have a favorite fishing pole or tackle you would like to bring, feel free to bring it along. Who provides drinks & snacks? We will provide plenty of ice and you are welcome to bring along drink & snacks and we will put them in the boat cooler. Please refrain from bringing anything stored or served in glass. Can I bring beer with me? We have no problem with you bringing beer and will be happy to put it into the boat cooler. Just please refrain from bringing glass bottles. Don't forget your Koozie! Do I keep my catch? We do participate in the catch and release program, however, if you would like to take your catch or trophy fish home, you may certainly do so. We do strictly adhere to all SC DNR fishing rules and regulations. Who cleans the fish? We will be happy clean and bag your catch. Just remember to bring a cooler with ice to take your fish home.
