Rate: Half Day (4 Hours) $35 For a nominal $15 charge, we offer a delivery and pick-up service on all rental equipment. We service the area from Rudee Inlet to Lynnhaven Inlet, including the Oceanfront Resort Area, First Landing State Park, the North End Rental Cottages, and a large area of the Chesapeake Bay. Save yourself the hassle, we’ll bring the fun to you!

Captain is not included.: This vessel is rented without a captain. Customers can operate the vessel.

In 1996 a Virginia Beach native named Matt started a small kayak eco-tour company called Chesapean Kayak Tours hoping to share the “backyard of his youth” with others. At the time there were few companies offering kayak tours and the ones that did focus on flatwater trips in the marshes. Chesapean was the first to offer daily kayak trips in the ocean to see bottlenose dolphins and to this day these tours remain our specialty. Chesapean Outdoors now offers guided kayak and stand up paddleboard tours, private and small group surf lessons, bike tours, rentals and corporate/group outings and beach day adventures.
